There are so many step-by-step guides to college, marriage, & more, but when it comes to navigating complex transformations required to pave your own way, not so much.  That’s where I come in.

 I’m Jahleane (pronounced zhaw-leen), a Brooklyn-based, free-spirited Motivational Speaker, Certified Coach, Content Creator and Founder of The Postgrad Playbook ™, but most of all, your newest go-to for tips about navigating your career and overcoming subconscious blocks to go from stuck to living your life in true alignment.  

I began sharing the realities of being a modern twenty-something while at college at UCSB to thousands of people all around the globe. However, it wasn’t until I worked a job that wasn’t in alignment with my overall goals for my future at the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic did I really understand what it means to be a postgrad adult with big dreams and without direction. 

I decided to take a leap of faith toward my ideal life by first completely reprogramming my subconscious mindset to let go of any negative emotions and beliefs holding me back. Then months later through a series of events that now seems not just like fate, but a result of a new outlook on reality sans subconscious blocks, I landed a new position, moved to NYC, and curated an unconventional career I love. 

Since that moment, hundreds of thousands of people across social media and online publications like The New York Times, Afrotech, LinkedIn News, and xoNecole have heard my testimony- thousands of which have committed to taking up space by walking in alignment with their purpose as well. 

All in all, I help budding Founders and Creatives that are stuck in a life incongruent with their big dreams take up space by reprogramming their subconscious mindset and providing them with the necessary career tips to take meaningful action forward. 

Through my content, my audience of primarily BIPOC young women are able to: 

  • Be 10x more motivated to go after what they want and apply the necessary changes to their lives and subconscious mindest to make it as picture-perfect as they always imagined
  • Understand how to handle these transitions with grace (even when it gets ugly)
